Duffy Dominates Brit Awards
Welsh singer Duffy said: "Thank you so much. It's a real honour to be here. Best British Female I don't know what that means, but I suppose it's a good job my mum didn't have a boy. But, really, this a treat, thank you."
Duffy stole the show at the BRIT Awards by winning three prizes. The 'Mercy' singer walked away with Best British Female, Best British Breakthrough and the prestigious Best British Album for debut 'Rockferry'. She was presented with her final gong, for Best British Album, by fellow Welsh singer Sir Tom Jones who said to her as he handed over the statuette: "From one Welsh person to another. God bless."
